Rothman Orthopaedics is hiring a Surgery Scheduler to join our surgical operations team in Torresdale South, Pennsylvania. In this full-time position, you'll play an essential role in coordinating surgical care, managing appointment schedules, and ensuring patients receive timely access to orthopedic procedures.
About the Role
As a Surgery Scheduler, you'll manage the flow of surgical appointments with precision and professionalism. Working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, you'll be the communication center connecting patients, surgeons, and clinical teams. Your work directly impacts patient satisfaction and surgical efficiency. Occasional travel to our Newtown location may be required to support operational needs.
What You'll Do
- Schedule surgical appointments and maintain updated surgical calendars
- Communicate directly with patients regarding procedure dates, times, and pre-operative requirements
- Coordinate scheduling with surgeons, nursing staff, and surgical facilities
- Process cancellations and reschedule appointments while minimizing delays
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all surgical appointments and patient information
- Confirm upcoming surgeries with patients and provide appointment reminders
- Respond promptly to patient questions and scheduling requests in a professional manner
- Support pre-operative coordination to ensure patients are prepared for their procedures
- Travel to our Newtown office as needed for coverage and operational support

- Reliable attendance and consistent performance on a Monday–Friday schedule
- Willingness to travel occasionally between office locations
