Role Overview

Join Ampact as a Recovery Project Coordinator and play a crucial role in addressing the opioid epidemic within our communities. This part-time position involves working closely with non-profit organizations or public agencies dedicated to supporting recovery efforts. You will be trained to enhance your service site's capacity to reach more individuals in need, ensuring that recovery resources are accessible and effective.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of recovery programs at assigned non-profit organizations or public agencies.
• Support the training and mentoring of staff members to improve their understanding and delivery of recovery services.
• Conduct outreach initiatives to increase awareness and engagement within the community regarding available recovery resources.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, social service organizations, and local government entities, to foster a comprehensive approach to addressing the opioid crisis.

What We're Looking For

• A passion for supporting individuals in their recovery journey from substance use disorders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working within a non-profit or public agency setting is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to community service and a desire to make a positive impact on local recovery efforts.
