Position Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This position is responsible for managing phone systems efficiently, ensuring all calls are answered promptly and directed appropriately. The Receptionist will perform a variety of general administrative duties, including greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the facility's front desk area.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, visitors, and employees in a professional manner
• Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately
• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and staff
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
• Process payments and handle cash transactions as needed
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience may substitute for formal education
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures a plus
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Prior experience as a receptionist or similar role preferred
