About the Role

As a Real Estate Paralegal with PulteGroup, you'll be an essential member of the legal department, handling the detailed, document-intensive work that underpins every home sale. You'll manage closing files, coordinate with title companies and lenders, review property records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations throughout the transaction lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and review real estate documents including purchase agreements, promissory notes, deeds, and closing statements
  • Conduct title searches and coordinate title insurance policies
  • Manage closing files from initiation through final recording, ensuring all documents are accurate and timely
  • Communicate with real estate agents, title companies, lenders, and homebuyers to address closing questions and resolve issues
  • Verify property ownership, easements, liens, and survey information
  • Maintain detailed records and filing systems for transaction documentation
  • Assist attorneys with legal research and due diligence on property matters

What We're Looking For

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in real estate law or closing services
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title issues, and closing procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal document preparation software and standard office applications
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple closing files simultaneously
  • Familiarity with North Carolina real estate law and closing requirements is a plus
