About the Role
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher to join our team at Bear Park in Mairangi Bay, New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide). Located off Constellation Drive, our center is licensed for up to 83 children aged from birth to school age. We pride ourselves on fostering a bi-cultural environment that challenges and supports all children, including those between the ages of 2 and 3.5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for toddlers aged 2-3.5 years old
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with our bi-cultural heritage
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and care
- Support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child
- Engage in regular assessments and record-keeping to monitor progress and inform future learning plans
Skills & Qualifications
- A qualified teacher with a recognized early childhood teaching qualification
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is preferred but not essential
- A strong understanding of the bi-cultural New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) context and its application in early childhood education
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
