Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at a state board school in Vijayapura, Karnataka. This is a full-time position based in Basavan Bagewadi, Bijapur, with a 1-year contract that may lead to permanent employment depending on performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Teach English to students from Grade 1 to 6 using the state board curriculum.
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues for continuous improvement of teaching methods and materials.
• Promote a positive learning environment that encourages participation and interaction among students.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English at the elementary level.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• The ability to create innovative, student-centered lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative classroom environment.
