Core Duties

• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in clear written reports that can be reviewed by supervisors and external partners.
• Operate access-control systems, radios, and basic monitoring equipment while remaining alert to unusual activity.
• Enforce posted safety rules and company guidelines in a firm but respectful manner.
• Provide directions, escort services, and calm guidance to employees and visitors during both routine and stressful moments.
• Coordinate with local emergency responders when medical, fire, or law-enforcement involvement is needed.
• Participate in required training refreshers and maintain readiness for after-hours or weather-related emergencies.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to walk extended distances, climb stairs, and stand for long periods during patrols.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public and writing reports.
• Dependable judgment that remains steady under pressure or sudden change.
• Valid driver’s license required for any on-site vehicle use.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of full-time scheduling.
• No prior experience required; related customer-service or security exposure is welcome but not mandatory for this Public Safety Officer I entry level.
