About the Role
Join our rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist Assistant and directly support patients in their recovery journey. You'll work under licensed Physical Therapists to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help patients regain strength, function, and confidence during critical phases of rehabilitation.
What You'll Do
- Deliver prescribed therapeutic exercises and modalities to support patient mobility and strength goals
- Guide patients through functional activities and progressive rehabilitation protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and tolerance to treatment, documenting responses accurately
- Instruct patients and family members on home exercise routines and safe movement strategies
- Prepare and maintain treatment equipment and therapy spaces according to safety standards
- Communicate patient progress and clinical observations to supervising Physical Therapists
- Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning and care coordination
What We're Looking For
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or PTA certification with eligibility for licensure
- Active CPR and Basic Life Support certification
- Strong communication and compassionate patient interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively across diverse patient populations and diagnoses
- Meticulous attention to documentation, safety protocols, and clinical detail
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional growth
