About This Position
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing organization at AthenaPsych. The position is part-time with flexible hours that include some evening availability for in-person and telehealth sessions.
- This role will collaborate closely with our on-staff Psychiatrist.

What You'll Do
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide individual and group psychotherapy to clients focusing on trauma-informed care. Duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of client needs.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Providing medication management as needed.
- Collaborating with the Psychiatrist for integrated care.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or a related field from an accredited program.
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in New York State.
- Experience in providing trauma-informed care and individual/group therapy.
- Proficiency in both in-person and telehealth services.
