About the Role
The increasing expansion of renewable energies leads to volatility in energy systems and poses significant challenges for our power grids. At Luxera Energy GmbH, we are a platform for stationary battery storage systems (BESS) that provide the necessary flexibility to integrate renewable energies more efficiently into the grid, contributing significantly to the energy transition. Our dynamic team of 17 employees combines extensive experience from strategy consulting (MBB) with the development, construction, and operation of battery storage and renewable energy projects. Our project pipeline currently includes approximately 1 GW of advanced battery storage projects. In the coming years, we will be building and operating a portion of these ourselves.
Core Duties
- Overall project management of stationary battery storage systems, from planning to commissioning
- Coordination and negotiation with external stakeholders, including landowners, municipalities, authorities, and other project partners
- Obtaining the necessary permits for construction and close coordination with our technical and engineering team on facility planning
- Participation in further company development, such as creating analyses on new topics and improving existing processes and tools
Skills & Qualifications
- A strong interest in renewable energies, storage, and the energy transition
- Experience in infrastructure project development (energy or real estate) or project management in the energy sector
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement
