Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support OGS construction projects at the Harriman State Office Campus in Albany, NY. This role will be crucial in overseeing and managing various construction projects ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Core Duties
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
- Manage project budgets and financials, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with multiple teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to construction projects.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- PMP certification is highly preferred but not required.
