The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Part Time Produce Clerk to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club in Seekonk. As a key member of the produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring that fresh and perishable items are properly stocked, displayed, and maintained. This role is crucial in providing customers with high-quality products and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock and display fresh fruits, vegetables, and other produce items according to company standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the produce section by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment.
• Check expiration dates on products and remove any that are past their sell-by date.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Available for part-time work, flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy produce items.
• Attention to detail in maintaining product quality and freshness.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
• Strong customer service skills.
