Produce Clerk – Part-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Produce Clerk to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club in Coventry, Michigan. As a key member of the produce department, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness while ensuring efficient operations.

<h2-Core Duties

• Receive and inspect fresh produce shipments from suppliers to ensure quality and freshness.
• Organize and stock shelves with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and other produce items.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks in the produce section to maintain hygiene standards.
• Assist customers with inquiries about products and provide guidance on proper storage and usage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

<h2-What We're Looking For

• A minimum of one year of experience in produce management or related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and crates up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
