About This Position

This role involves serving as a key member of Langan's collaborative team in London. The Principal Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead and collaborate on complex civil engineering projects
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project management activities
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in the design process
• Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and reports for various infrastructure projects
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address issues

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development and infrastructure projects
• A professional engineering license (PE) is required
• Experience working on renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
