About the Role
As a Primate Caregiver I at Black Beauty Ranch, you'll provide essential daily care to our primate community. This hands-on role combines routine animal husbandry with careful observation and attention to detail, ensuring each resident receives the support needed to thrive in a sanctuary setting.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and distribute appropriate nutrition and fresh water daily
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain living spaces, enclosures, and enrichment areas
- Monitor animal health and behavior, documenting observations accurately
- Follow established care protocols and safety procedures consistently
- Assist with enrichment activities and behavioral observations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, quality animal care
What We're Looking For
- Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on care tasks, including lifting and manual work
- Genuine compassion for animals and commitment to their welfare
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfort working in an outdoor sanctuary environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation & Benefits
