POLICE OFFICER (T32 Indefinite) — Department of the Air Force, Saint Paul, Minnesota

About the Role

This position involves performing a wide range of police officer duties within designated jurisdictions. The incumbent will have full powers of apprehension and detention, including carrying firearms, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence, and testifying in court regarding enforcement actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforcing laws and regulations within the assigned jurisdiction
• Mirandizing suspects and conducting interviews
• Preserving evidence and maintaining crime scenes
• Testifying in court as required
• Carrying a firearm when necessary for duty
• Performing general patrol duties to maintain public safety
• Responding to emergency calls and incidents

What We're Looking For

• A strong commitment to public service and community safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience as a police officer or law enforcement professional is preferred
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• The ability to pass a background check, including a security clearance
• Physical fitness to perform duties safely and effectively
