NCW is hiring a Plumber to work on commercial and residential construction projects in Carrollton, Hancock County.
About the Role
As a Plumber with NCW, you will join a skilled team responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on a variety of job sites. Your work will help ensure that water supply, drainage, and related components function safely and efficiently according to project plans and local regulations.
What You'll Do
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and backflow prevention devices
- Follow plumbing codes, project blueprints, and manufacturer specifications for all tasks
- Diagnose and resolve issues with existing systems, performing timely troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete rough‑in installation as well as finished trim work for new construction and remodels
- Coordinate with site supervisors, general contractors, and other trades to keep schedules on track
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols on the job site
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a plumber on commercial or residential construction projects
- Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification recognized in the state
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow plumbing blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing system faults
- Physical stamina to lift heavy pipe, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with supervisors, contractors, and crew members
- Commitment to upholding safety standards, code compliance, and quality workmanship
