NCW is hiring a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician in Charlottesville, Hancock County to keep our manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. You'll diagnose and repair production equipment, execute preventative maintenance, and minimize downtime to support our facility's operational success.
About the Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician with NCW, you'll work within our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team to ensure reliable equipment performance across our manufacturing facility. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, perform scheduled maintenance routines, and respond to equipment failures to restore production quickly. Your expertise directly impacts facility safety, throughput, and cost efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and industrial equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance routines to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned downtime
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Respond promptly to equipment failures and implement solutions to restore operations
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions for tracking and compliance
- Follow safety protocols and workplace standards in all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for improved equipment reliability
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical documentation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment
