As an Urgent Care Physician Assistant with Opportunity Healthcare, you will deliver hands-on, patient-centered care at a local facility in Coconino County, AZ. Working a five-day daytime schedule, you will assess and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions, making this an ideal opportunity for a PA who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment near the Grand Canyon.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients seeking urgent and walk-in care
- Develop and manage treatment plans for acute injuries and illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically indicated
- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up guidance within your scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current, valid PA licensure eligible for practice in Arizona
- NCCPA certification
- Ability to work a daytime, five-day-per-week schedule
- Availability to begin as soon as possible
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to compassionate urgent care
