Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walmart in Pleasanthill, New Jersey. This full-time position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $16 - $29 per hour. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department by filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

• Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate records and updating patient profiles
• Assisting with medication counseling to ensure patients understand their medications
• Managing inventory of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and supplies
• Performing basic compounding tasks as needed
• Adhering to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety protocols
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates who possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
