The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Deli/Bakery Team Associate to join our dynamic team at Walmart. As a key member of the retail staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our deli and bakery sections are well-stocked, fresh, and appealing to customers. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.50 to $32.50 per hour, with additional compensation in the form of performance incentives and possible premium pay based on specific circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of fresh products including sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and more
• Ensure all food items are properly labeled with expiration dates and prepared in a safe and hygienic manner
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate records of stock levels
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deli and bakery sections

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
• Basic food handling and safety certifications are beneficial
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers of all backgrounds
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
