Position Summary

Engages in post-graduate pharmacy activities under direct supervision of licensed pharmacist to fulfill State Board of Pharmacy requirements. Provides pharmacy consulting services to customers regarding the effective usage of medications, awareness of drug interactions and offering preventive healthcare services such as immunizations. Responsible for ensuring the proper compounding and dispensing of medications.

Core Duties

• Conducts medication consultations with patients to ensure safe and appropriate use of prescription drugs
• Assists in monitoring drug therapy, providing patient education on drug interactions and side effects
• Participates in immunization programs and other preventive healthcare services as required by the state board of pharmacy
• Ensures adherence to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Supports the compounding process under direct supervision

Requirements

• Non-US education in Pharmacy or related field
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Prior experience in pharmacy or related field preferred but not required
