Personal Injury Attorney

Johnson Law Group is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Chicago, Cook County. In this full-time position, you'll advocate for injured clients, manage complex litigation cases, and contribute to our firm's continued success serving the Chicago legal market.

About the Role

As a Personal Injury Attorney with Johnson Law Group, you'll represent clients throughout Cook County who have suffered injuries due to negligence, accidents, and other liable incidents. You'll manage cases from initial client consultation through settlement or trial, building strong client relationships while navigating the complexities of personal injury law in Illinois.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, and workplace injuries
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and prepare comprehensive case documentation
• Negotiate settlements and dispute resolutions with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
• Draft legal motions, discovery materials, and trial documents
• Appear in Cook County courts and represent clients at depositions and hearings
• Maintain professional client relationships with clear communication throughout the legal process
• Contribute to case strategy and legal analysis within the firm

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active Illinois bar license
• Professional experience in personal injury litigation or related practice areas
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines
• Client-centered approach with excellent communication abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to ethical legal practice

Compensation and Benefits

Johnson Law Group offers a competitive compensation package for this Chicago-based position. The salary range is $100,000 to $125,000 annually, with performance-based incentives. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage (company contribution of 80–85% toward medical premiums), a 401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% company matching, life insurance, commuter benefits, and paid time off including paid holidays in accordance with applicable law.
