Role Overview
We are currently seeking a per diem / PRN Nurse RN for our Labor and Delivery department at AMN Healthcare Local in Anaheim, California. This is an ongoing opportunity with 12-hour night shifts.
Core Duties
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Assist with the delivery process under supervision
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions
- Document patient care accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- RN license valid in California
- Experience in Labor and Delivery a plus but not required
- Night shift availability
- Prioritization of patient care with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for both verbal and written documentation
