Role Overview

At Encompass Family Support Services, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Part-time Direct Support Professionals in Valley City. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation needs.
• Support clients in developing skills to enhance their independence and self-sufficiency.
• Facilitate social interactions and recreational activities that promote community engagement and inclusion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for the individuals we serve.

What We're Looking For

• A compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients and their families.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of disability services and support techniques (training provided).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required for this position.
