The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team at Beacon Lighting's store in the Launceston region of Tasmania. This role offers a flexible schedule with 53 hours per fortnight, including a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, as well as public holidays.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customers have positive shopping experiences
• Selling lighting products based on customer needs and preferences
• Maintaining an organized and attractive store environment
• Taking care of daily administrative tasks such as inventory management, sales reports, and cash handling
• Assisting with promotions and events to drive sales

Skills & Qualifications

• A genuine passion for customer service and retail
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively
• Basic knowledge of lighting products or a willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required, as the store is easily accessible by public transport
