Honor is seeking a Client Care Advisor to join our San Francisco team. In this full-time position based in San Francisco, California, you'll be the essential bridge between families seeking home care services and our network of caregiving professionals, helping guide one of the most significant decisions families make for their aging loved ones.
Role Overview
As a Client Care Advisor at Honor, you're at the frontline of our mission to transform how families discover and experience senior home care. Your core responsibilities center on three interconnected areas: facilitating in-depth conversations with families to understand their care needs and circumstances; stewarding the journey from initial decision through successful service launch; and nurturing client relationships through ongoing check-ins, care plan refinements, and proactive support. This is fundamentally a field-based role, with approximately 75% of your time spent across the San Francisco Bay Area conducting family consultations, overseeing service initiations, and conducting quality assurance site visits.
Success in this position demands both clear thinking and authentic human connection—the ability to ask incisive questions about complex family dynamics, establish credibility and trust quickly, and coordinate multiple operational elements to deliver real results. Your direct impact determines whether families feel confident in their care choice and remain satisfied over time.
Responsibilities
- Execute thorough assessment conversations with families to identify specific care requirements, service timelines, and decision readiness
- Create tailored care recommendations grounded in each family's unique situation, preferences, and constraints
- Facilitate successful service launches by orchestrating onboarding logistics, synchronizing expectations, and eliminating obstacles to activation
- Foster durable client partnerships through scheduled reassessments, care adjustments, and consistent touchpoints
- Coordinate across internal departments—scheduling, operations, and caregiver management—to sustain service quality and resolve challenges
- Uphold comprehensive documentation standards in CRM and operational platforms to track client progress, performance data, and regulatory compliance
- Expand market relationships and referral networks that drive sustained growth within the San Francisco region
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of hands-on, consultative experience in client-focused settings such as healthcare support, senior services, social work, care coordination, or related domains
- Demonstrated ability to convert client conversations into measurable results—including enrollment, retention, or adoption metrics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with skill in adapting your approach to diverse family needs and time-sensitive situations
- Experience managing client accounts with clear accountability for concrete performance outcomes
- Proficiency in structuring purposeful client interactions—from initial contact through needs discovery, solution presentation, and commitment
- Capacity to work cross-functionally, executing service delivery and navigating operational complexities collaboratively
- Comfort with business technology platforms, CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and documented workflow processes
- Disciplined execution habits: reliable follow-through, performance monitoring, and accurate record management
- Commitment to spending ~75% of time in the field within the San Francisco area, with access to reliable personal transportation and flexibility for occasional evening or weekend scheduling
- Preferred: prior experience serving older adults and families, or formal training in healthcare administration, gerontology, social work, or comparable fields
