QA Performance Claims Specialist

Qurate Retail Group is hiring a QA Performance Claims Specialist to bring rigorous technical judgment to the product claims that power live social shopping across QVC and HSN. If you thrive at the intersection of science, quality, and consumer trust, this remote role could be your next move.

About the Role

As a QA Performance Claims Specialist, you will own the evaluation of proposed product performance claims—approving or declining them based on the strength of their substantiation. You'll apply deep technical expertise while coaching stakeholders to raise the quality of submissions and shorten the path to review and approval. This is a remote position, and applicants must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess proposed product performance claims objectively against company, industry, and regulatory standards.
• Confirm advertised features and benefits by reviewing technical evidence such as clinical studies, data sheets, and test reports.
• Advise vendors on the documentation required and ensure approved claims match the substantiation provided.
• Collaborate with Legal so that approved claims meet FTC rules, truth-in-advertising principles, and customer expectations.
• Deliver training, technical direction, and root-cause CAPA support to address recurring claim problems.
• Monitor vendor and process metrics to spot trends, drive corrective action, and improve QA efficiency and speed to market.

Qualifications

• Proven skill interpreting complex technical documentation, clinical studies, and large data sets; a beauty-category background is preferred.
• Strong command of claim substantiation methods, industry standards, and regulations including FTC, FDA, CPSC, and Prop 65.
• 5+ years in quality or technical environments, with a clear grasp of how product claims shape the customer experience.
• A relevant technical certification or degree—ideally in the physical or natural sciences—is preferred.
