About the Role
As an Over The Road Company Driver, you'll operate commercial refrigerated equipment for one of Louisiana's established refrigerated carriers. Our fleet specializes in temperature-controlled transport across routes primarily positioned east of I-25. You'll be responsible for safe, timely delivery of perishable cargo while maintaining compliance with federal transportation standards and company operational procedures.
What You'll Do
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment on long-haul routes
- Maintain vehicle pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Transport refrigerated cargo across assigned regional territory
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and delivery updates
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with clean driving record
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailer equipment
- Current DOT medical certification
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable, experienced trucking professional ready for consistent OTR work
