Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Part-Time / 1099 Co

We're seeking a skilled pediatric occupational therapist to join PLAY LEARN BEHAVE WITH ABA, APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS, PLLC in New York City. As a part-time contractor, you'll deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to children with diverse developmental and behavioral support needs.

About the Role

This part-time, contract position offers flexibility to provide specialized occupational therapy services to pediatric clients. You'll contribute to a mission centered on empowering neurodivergent children to develop the functional independence, motor skills, and confidence they need to succeed at home, school, and in their communities.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations assessing sensory, motor, and functional abilities
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based therapeutic practices
• Facilitate therapy sessions targeting functional independence, fine motor development, and sensory integration
• Partner with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate integrated care
• Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and measurable outcomes in client records
• Adapt interventions to align with each child's developmental stage, learning profile, and therapeutic goals

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current New York state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT/L or OTR/L)
• Hands-on experience providing occupational therapy to pediatric populations
• Working knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy frameworks and neurodevelopmental approaches
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with children and families
• Comfort working as an independent contractor in a collaborative clinical environment
