The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced On Site Specialist I to join our team at Veolia North America. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission of providing comprehensive water, waste, and energy management services in the Philadelphia area.

Core Duties

• Assist with the maintenance and operation of on-site equipment and facilities
• Conduct routine inspections and record-keeping for environmental compliance
• Support the implementation of sustainable practices to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and problem resolution
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in environmental or industrial maintenance
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance procedures
• Proficiency in basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if required)
