About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy services in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital. This is a full-time position where you'll make a direct impact on patient outcomes while collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to community health and recovery.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions focused on activities of daily living, motor skills, and cognitive function
- Work with patients across diverse diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other rehabilitation specialists
- Monitor and document patient progress; modify interventions based on clinical outcomes
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
- Participate in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Florida OT licensure and NBCOT certification
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care approach
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic rehabilitation environment
- Prior acute care or rehabilitation experience is a plus
