Position Summary

As the Nurse Practitioner at Newoakland in Clinton Township, MI, you will serve as an advanced practice clinician responsible for independent and collaborative patient management. What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive health histories, physical examinations, and risk assessments for patients of varying ages and needs.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and create individualized care plans that integrate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostics while prescribing medications in accordance with Michigan scope-of-practice guidelines.
• Partner daily with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate seamless care transitions and follow-up.
• Counsel patients and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques.
• Document encounters thoroughly in the electronic health record and uphold all clinical, legal, and quality standards.

What You Bring

• Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and national certification eligible for practice in Michigan.
• Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent advanced practice degree from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, and therapeutic decision-making.
• Clear, compassionate communication skills that foster trust with patients and smooth collaboration with colleagues.
• Strong organizational habits and the capacity to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced outpatient or ambulatory setting.
