About the Role
As a Veterinarian at Kehoe Animal Clinic, you'll deliver comprehensive medical services to companion animals, from routine wellness exams to complex surgical and diagnostic procedures. You'll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, perform surgeries, and communicate directly with pet owners about care options and outcomes. This full-time position allows you to build lasting relationships with clients while continuously refining your clinical skills in a supportive practice environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment recommendations
- Conduct surgical procedures for spay, neuter, and other routine and emergency cases
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and manage patient records accurately
- Counsel clients on preventive care, nutrition, and behavioral health
- Respond to urgent cases and provide emergency medical care as needed
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree with state licensure
- Genuine compassion for animals and genuine commitment to client education
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, with willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented clinic setting
- Experience in small animal medicine (preferred but not required)
