About This Position

This full-time role brings Red Cross services directly to the military community. As Military Support Program Manager, you'll lead initiatives and coordinate support services designed specifically for active-duty personnel, their families, and veterans at Fort Polk. You'll work on-site to ensure these vital programs run smoothly and meaningfully serve those who serve our nation.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage military-focused programs aligned with Red Cross mission and community priorities
• Develop and deliver services that directly support active-duty personnel, military families, and veterans
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with military command, leadership, and community organizations
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, including volunteer coordination, resource management, and scheduling
• Measure program outcomes through data tracking and reporting on service quality and impact
• Provide hands-on support and resources to service members and families facing challenges or transitions
• Serve as the Red Cross presence in military community events and outreach activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in program management, community services, or case management
• Genuine passion for supporting military service members and their families
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with military personnel and external partners
• Reliable transportation and commitment to working on-site at Fort Polk
• Understanding of military culture and respect for military family needs
