As Medical Records Specialist at our El Segundo law firm, you'll manage all aspects of medical records handling for personal injury cases. What You'll Do
- Obtain, organize, and review medical records from healthcare providers
- Verify completeness and accuracy of medical documentation for case files
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and medical offices to obtain records and imaging
- Maintain secure, organized filing systems and digital databases
- Track record requests and follow up on outstanding medical documentation
- Prepare summaries of medical information for attorney review
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Manage correspondence with medical providers and clients
- Support litigation preparation with detailed medical documentation
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience working with medical records in a legal or healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
