About the Role

As a Remote Tax Senior, you'll partner with a diverse portfolio of privately held clients spanning construction, insurance, real estate, manufacturing, and not-for-profit organizations. This position can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or in a hybrid arrangement near Irvine, California, giving you the flexibility to do meaningful work on your own terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review intricate multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual income tax returns
• Serve a broad client base across private industry, including construction, real estate, insurance, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors
• Manage several engagements at once, setting priorities and delivering quality results with limited oversight
• Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and partners while operating independently day to day

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of recent public accounting experience
• Demonstrated skill preparing complex multi-state, consolidated, partnership, and individual returns
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related discipline
• Active CPA license, or a clear path toward earning one
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities, paired with technical fluency
• Capacity to juggle multiple assignments and stay productive with minimal supervision
• Prior exposure to the insurance industry is considered a plus
