About the Role

As a full-time Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager, you'll lead complex tax engagements for major insurance corporations while mentoring junior professionals. You'll combine hands-on tax preparation and compliance work with relationship management and strategic advisory responsibilities for some of the firm's most important clients.

What You'll Do

• Prepare comprehensive tax returns and manage full compliance filings for large insurance companies
• Oversee client relationships and serve as lead contact for assigned insurance corporation accounts
• Evaluate tax positions, planning strategies, and compliance structures specific to insurance operations
• Mentor and supervise junior accountants and tax professionals
• Coordinate with clients on tax documentation, filings, and regulatory inquiries
• Stay informed of tax law and regulatory changes affecting the insurance industry

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA license required
• Recent hands-on CPA firm experience preparing tax returns for insurance companies
• Expertise in corporate and insurance company tax compliance and preparation
• Professional track record managing client relationships
• Experience supervising and developing junior accounting staff
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple sophisticated engagements
