Professional Development School Trainers is seeking experienced K-12 educators and school leaders for a part-time remote position as a Professional Development Trainer, based in Indianapolis, Marion County. This role offers experienced educators—whether currently teaching, retired, or working as instructional coaches or administrators—the opportunity to extend their expertise nationwide, training and inspiring teachers through professional development that transforms classroom practice.

The Opportunity

As a K-12 Professional Development Trainer with Professional Development School Trainers, you'll design and deliver professional learning experiences that help teachers strengthen their craft and boost student outcomes across the country. This flexible, remote-friendly position lets you share your instructional expertise with educators nationwide, shaping teaching practice without the constraints of a single building or district. You'll be part of a growing network of K-12 professionals committed to educator growth and student success.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver professional development workshops tailored to teacher needs and school or district learning goals
• Design curriculum-aligned training content focused on evidence-based instructional practices
• Facilitate engaging learning sessions—online and in-person as needed—for educator groups of varying sizes
• Support teachers in translating professional learning into classroom practice through coaching and feedback
• Assess training impact and adjust content and delivery to maximize educator growth and student outcomes
• Collaborate with school and district partners to understand learning priorities and customize professional development offerings

What We're Looking For

• K-12 teaching experience, or background as an instructional coach, school administrator, or education consultant
• Deep knowledge of subject matter, grade level, or instructional approach relevant to professional development focus areas
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, learner-centered professional development
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; comfort presenting to diverse educator audiences
• Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote environment with minimal oversight
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices
