The Opportunity

We are seeking a Maintenance Tech II to join our team at DICK’S Sporting Goods. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of our distribution center by ensuring that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and functional. As a Maintenance Tech II, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any facility-related concerns.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents or equipment failures
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled by the maintenance schedule
• Assist in the repair and replacement of faulty equipment and machinery
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for record-keeping purposes
• Work closely with other departments to resolve facility-related issues promptly

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic machinery repair
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to company policies
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits
