The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Maintenance Fitters to join our team at a leading food manufacturer based in Brisbane. As part of a high-performing maintenance group supporting a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in the development of maintenance schedules and procedures
• Support cross-functional teams during production runs as needed
• Potential for overtime work due to the nature of the role

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance fitter role within the food manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities
