About the Role

As the Preventive Maintenance Sales Manager at ACI Mechanical, you will take ownership of developing and expanding the company's preventive maintenance customer base. This full-time, on-site position in Ames, Iowa puts you at the center of a well-established, merit-shop, design-build operation with decades of proven performance in the commercial and industrial mechanical sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new preventive maintenance service agreements with commercial and industrial clients
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of maintenance accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to develop tailored service proposals
• Develop pricing strategies and present preventive maintenance solutions to key decision-makers
• Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and performance metrics to meet growth targets

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, preferably within mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or related construction services
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and their value to commercial and industrial facility operators
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, pipe fitting, sheet metal, or related trades is an advantage
