Good Samaritan is seeking a compassionate, licensed LPN for a Part Time Evenings LTC position in Starbuck, Pope County, joining a faith-based, not-for-profit team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through skilled long-term care.
About the Role
As an LPN working part-time evening shifts in long-term care (LTC) at Good Samaritan in Starbuck, Pope County, you will deliver hands-on nursing care to residents in a supportive, Christian environment built on more than a century of service to older adults. This role centers on dignity, comfort, and quality clinical care during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents during evening shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments in line with physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor and document residents' health status, reporting changes to the care team.
- Support residents with daily living needs while upholding their comfort and dignity.
- Collaborate with RNs, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Availability to work part-time evening shifts in a long-term care setting.
- Commitment to resident-centered, high-quality care.
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills.
