Responsibilities

• Monitor store floors, back areas, and entry/exit points to detect and deter unauthorized activity or theft
• Observe customer and employee conduct, investigating discrepancies or policy violations
• Document and report suspicious incidents, shrinkage, and security concerns accurately and promptly
• Maintain surveillance equipment and familiarize yourself with store security systems
• Collaborate with store management to implement loss prevention strategies and best practices
• Educate team members on security protocols and loss prevention awareness
• Follow all company policies and maintain confidentiality regarding investigations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance if required
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to work independently and make sound decisions
