As a locum PA in Family Practice, you'll work in an established clinical setting serving patients across the lifespan. What You'll Do
- Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions common to family medicine
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Manage patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Prescribe medications within your scope of practice and state regulations
- Document clinical encounters thoroughly and maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient education and preventive health guidance
What We're Looking For
- Current PA licensure in Colorado or ability to obtain it
- Certification through PANCE or substantial clinical PA experience in family medicine
- Strong clinical skills and judgment in managing diverse patient presentations
- Professional communication and teamwork abilities
- DEA registration and prescribing privileges (or eligibility to obtain)
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
