About the Role
This Occupational Therapist position offers the chance to deliver direct clinical care and evidence-based interventions to adults with physical disabilities, age-related frailty, and complex support needs. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments to identify support needs for adults with disabilities and complex conditions
- Recommend and prescribe adaptive equipment tailored to safe mobility and independent living
- Assess home environments and advise on structural adaptations to support client safety and autonomy
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, social workers, and community partners to deliver integrated care
- Maintain detailed, accurate clinical records and professional reporting aligned with regulatory standards
- Manage and prioritize your caseload strategically in response to service priorities and client needs
- Participate in safeguarding and risk assessment processes as part of your statutory responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Demonstrated experience in community-based occupational therapy practice
- Expert knowledge of moving and handling principles, equipment assessment, and home modifications
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and reporting to professional standards
- Driving license is helpful but not required
