About the Role

As a Live-In Caregiver based in Danbury, Fairfield County, you will reside with clients of Nuvance Health Caregivers at Home and provide steady, hands-on support that helps them live safely and comfortably. Working within the certified nursing assistant (CNA) scope of practice, you will follow each client's personalized care plan and uphold NHCH policies and standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with Northwell Health affiliates (WCHN Affiliates).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and everyday household tasks.
• Deliver care according to each client's individual care plan and observed needs.
• Operate within the guidelines of the CNA scope of practice and in line with NHCH policies and procedures.
• Provide companionship and attentive, respectful support as a live-in member of the client's household.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform duties consistent with the certified nursing assistant (CNA) scope of practice.
• Comfortable living in a client's home and adapting to an individualized care environment.
• Reliability, patience, and genuine commitment to client well-being and dignity.
• Willingness to follow established care plans and adhere to NHCH policies and standards.
