About the Role

As a Licensed Optician at For Eyes, you'll be the expertise behind our frames and lenses. You'll fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, translating prescriptions from our affiliated eye care professionals into perfect vision solutions for every customer. This is a full-time position where your technical knowledge and patient care approach directly impact how people see their world.

What You'll Do

• Fit and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses with precision, ensuring optimal comfort and visual performance
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing
• Guide customers through frame selection, lens options, and coatings that match their lifestyle and budget
• Maintain detailed patient records and follow all regulatory and company compliance standards
• Perform basic optical adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance on eyewear
• Manage optical inventory and coordinate with store operations
• Contribute to a welcoming, customer-focused retail environment

What We're Looking For

• Current Virginia state license as an Optician
• Proficiency in optical dispensing, lens technology, and frame fitting
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
