Join Guidepost Montessori as a Lead Preschool Teacher in our Naperville classroom. We're hiring an experienced educator to guide children ages 3 through 6 in a Montessori learning community. About the Role

As Lead Preschool Teacher, you'll oversee classroom operations, create thoughtfully prepared learning environments, and deliver individualized guidance to support each child's unique development. You'll partner with families and collaborate with your teaching team to foster a warm, respectful classroom where children thrive.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver learning experiences aligned with Montessori principles and each child's readiness
• Prepare and maintain a classroom environment that encourages exploration and self-directed learning
• Guide children's social-emotional and academic development through observation and respectful leadership
• Assess and document children's progress across all developmental areas
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's growth and classroom experiences
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide excellent care
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and joyful classroom community
• Meet all licensing and regulatory requirements for early childhood education programs

What We're Looking For

• Passion for early childhood education and the Montessori approach
• Experience working with preschool-aged children ages 3–6
• Understanding of child development and how to support individual learning journeys
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with families
• Ability to create and maintain a prepared, organized learning environment
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to working effectively with classroom teams
• Certification or licensure as required by your state for early childhood education
• Physical ability to work hands-on with young children throughout the day
