Lead, Employment Consultant

Best Buddies Int. Inc is seeking a full-time Lead Employment Consultant to join our team in Highlandtown, Baltimore. In this leadership role, you'll drive employment outcomes and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful career opportunities.

About the Role

As Lead Employment Consultant at Best Buddies Int. Inc, you'll combine clinical expertise with genuine passion for inclusive employment. This full-time position involves direct client work, employer partnerships, and mentoring of team members to expand employment services in the Baltimore region.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute individualized employment plans for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, identifying strengths, interests, and career pathways
• Conduct job coaching and workplace support to ensure successful job matches and long-term employment retention
• Build and maintain partnerships with local employers to identify inclusive job opportunities and inclusive hiring practices
• Lead outreach efforts within the community to increase awareness of employment programs and expand access
• Mentor and supervise team members to deliver high-quality, person-centered employment services
• Maintain detailed case documentation and track program outcomes and client progress
• Advocate for individuals with disabilities in the workplace and within organizational initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in employment consulting, job coaching, or disability services
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients, families, and employers
• Knowledge of inclusive employment models and best practices for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Proficiency with case management software and data tracking systems
• Commitment to person-centered, strengths-based approaches to career development
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
